A high Sierra trip taken by Herbert Kittredge Reynolds and others. The trip was most likely an out and back trip out of the Onion Valley trailhead west of Independence,CA. This trip was taken in the early summer of 1936 and may have been a celebration of Herbert Reynolds' 30th birthday on June 22. The trip went up to Forester Pass (13200') with a side trip up to an unnamed peak(13700') west of Forester Pass. This peak was probably the objective of the trip and offered spectacular views of the mountains of the Great Western Divide.
